Attending M.S 137 certainly shaped me into the person I am today! M.S 137 is where my interest in science sparked when I was in Mrs. Grover’s 6th grade and Ms. Ramnauth’s 7th grade class. After graduating from M.S 137, I went to Jamaica Gateway to the Sciences High School. Now, I am a senior at The City College of New York graduating with a dual Biology and International Relations degree. I currently work at Mount Sinai hospital in the Ophthalmology department. I also actively participate with various non-profit organizations, as well as the United Nations. My goal after college is to attend medical school. Attending M.S. 137 not only prepared me academically, but also personally and professionally. My middle school years were crucial towards my growth and development. Because of M.S 137, the wonderful staff and community, I am not afraid to pursue my big dreams. M.S. 137: America's School of Heroes makes me feel like I am a hero because now I can overcome any challenges and continue to always strive for excellence!
